RESEARCH PROJECT ON ASSESSMENT

A letter is being sent home with the children this week. It outlines a research project that some teachers are involved in over the next 6 months with Professor Marilyn Fleer at Monash University.

The letter outlines the project “Assessment beyond borders: Potentive assessment in Primary School”. The project is looking at varied ways to assess children both at school and at home.

It also includes consent forms for you to fill out and return to school as soon as possible.

We would appreciate your support in this research project.

Silver Key by NJ Cameron Kevin is reading 'The silver key' to the children and developing thinking about our reading with the children. The children will develop a reading log about their thoughts and wonderings. I have already read this book but I still love listening to it. It’s always good to read a book again. My favourite part of the book so far is when Max finds the key. I wonder what will happen next. Maddy. I wonder what they will find at the farm. Kiarna I think the book is interesting because I wonder what it opens. Filip
